Data Protection Notice regarding MrFOX reward mail
We are delighted that you have been so diligent in documenting in foxondo and are happy to send you your well-deserved MrFOX reward.
For the sake of formality: The reward post is a voluntary service provided by fox-on, to which there is no legal entitlement.
As we process your personal data in this process, we must and wish to provide you with more detailed information about this:
Purpose: We process your data (name, e-mail address, employer, MrFOX points collected, postal address – either private or business)) for the purpose of sending you a MrFOX reward at your own request. We do not use your participant data for advertising purposes (you may receive marketing information from us in other contexts; you can object to this at any time).
The legal basis for this data processing is your consent (Art. 6 Para 1 Letter a GDPR), which is given by sending us your address. You can revoke your consent with future effect, in which case we will delete your e-mail and no longer take it into account in any other way. If your MrFOX reward is already in the post, we cannot, of course, withdraw it.
We do not pass on your data to recipients other than possible shipping service providers. In addition, our IT service providers also have access to your data. Some of these service providers may be based in third countries and ensure adequate data protection through EU standard contractual clauses.
The storage period for this information depends on the purpose stated above. As a rule, we delete emails after three years; if accounting or tax requirements must be complied with, the storage period is generally 8 years.
The provision of your data is voluntary. You are not obliged to provide us with your address – however, if you do not, you will not be able to receive our great MrFOX rewards.
You probably know your rights as a data subject pretty well by now, at least in theory. As far as the legal requirements are met, you have (as always) the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and, if applicable, to objection (Art. 21 GDPR).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint about data processing to the data protection supervisory authority. We would be pleased if, in case of doubt, you would contact us first.
fox-on Datenschutz GmbH is responsible for the data processing. You can reach us via our contact form; further contact options can be found in the imprint.
You can reach fox-on’s Data Protection Officer using the same contact options or directly via ds [at]fox-on.com.
Further statements about the handling of your personal data in other contexts can be found on our overview page “Data Protection Notices”.
